Tige Savage co-founded Revolution LLC with Steve Case and serves as its Managing Director, where he oversees all of Revolution’s venture capital efforts. Tige has been named one of Washington, D.C. area’s 100 “Tech Titans” and serves or has served on the boards of Revolution portfolio companies LivingSocial, Revolution Money (American Express), Zipcar, UberMedia, Personal, Clearspring, SparkPeople, Snagfilms, and Qloud (Buzznet).
From 2001 to 2003, Tige was vice president of Time Warner Ventures, where he led a team of investment professionals focused on equity investments in technology and next-generation media companies for AOL, HBO, Time Inc., Time Warner Cable, Turner, and Warner Bros.
From 1998 to 2000 Tige was the executive vice president of Riggs Capital Partners, targeting investments in companies and funds at the intersections of technology and media, where Tige was responsible for all the administrative functions of the fund.
From 1990-1996, Tige was an executive at Riggs National Bank, ultimately reporting to and serving as chief of staff to the Chairman and CEO, Joe Allbritton. During this period, Tige was also named to the board of Allbritton Communications Company, advising on its new media strategies. Allbritton ultimately launched such new media successes as Politico.
Tige received his MBA with highest distinction from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and his BBA from James Madison University.
