When asked what I do for a living, I like to respond with “I listen to people.” It’s not a snarky response – it’s true. I listen to people for a living.
My goal at HelloWallet is to maintain an ongoing conversation with our members. I want to learn everything about how you manage finances, how you think about work benefits, and how you plan for healthcare expenses. What are your priorities? What are your obstacles? What works for you? What doesn’t? And more importantly, why? Then I work with our talented engineers to translate what you’ve told me and apply it to the HelloWallet web and mobile applications.
I also want to know what you think about HelloWallet, specifically. What features make sense to you? What could use some improvement? Usually these conversations unfold as I watch someone using HelloWallet. As I observe someone using the site, I listen. I note if they can find the button they’re looking for on the screen or if the instructions are clear. You know the phrase “the customer is never wrong”? It couldn’t be more true here. There’s no right or wrong way to use HelloWallet. My job is to make sure HelloWallet makes sense, and above all, helps members.
And now I need to ask for your help. I’m looking for people to chat with. It’s easy to participate. If you’re outside of the Washington DC area you don’t need to travel – all you need is a computer, an internet connection, and a phone. It only takes 45 minutes. And if you’re selected to participate, you’ll get an Amazon gift card for your time.
Just answer a few questions and I’ll contact you to set up a time. I look forward to chatting with you!
