As I’ve mentioned before, the HelloWallet offices will be moving to the other side of Dupont Circle this coming March, so between now and then I’ll be periodically hopping over to the new office to document the progress of transforming the dark concrete void into the bright, fun-filled new office space we have planned.
Yesterday, with ten HelloWallet team members in tow, I made my first visit to the new building. As you can see from the pictures below, the space looks about as far from an office as possible, which makes it even more incredible to imagine the renovated space that we’ll call home in just a few months.
The view from the outside is just as incredible, as a huge new mural of Duke Ellington covers the brick wall of the building and rows of postal trucks line the street. Why Duke Ellington, you ask? Because in 1899, Ellington was born on the grounds that the building now sits. Seems like a pretty great predecessor to me.
